Welcome to Family Church’s One-On-One Discipleship Page. Our goal at Family Church is to fulfill the Great Commission in making disciples and not church attenders. We believe every believer should be actively sharing their faith, becoming a disciple and making someone else into a disciple of Jesus.

A One-On-One relationship takes place for 12 weeks for about one hour each meeting. Each lesson is designed to stimulate conversation and action in the life of the discipler and the disciplee. At the end of the lesson you will find three days of extra study. Spend about 15 minutes discussing this homework during the next lesson.

Below you will find the 12 weeks of One-On-One lessons to download for your meetings. They are by no means the only areas to be discipled in but, we believe, foundational to every believer's spiritual growth. The lessons are not intended for group study or use outside of the One-On-One relationship. They are intended to be used by those who have completed One-On-One training and those currently in a One-On-One experience.

The goal of the lessons is found in the principle of 2 Timothy 2:2, "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others." What you learn should not be kept to yourself but shared with others. From the beginning, a disciplee should begin thinking and praying about who they should start the One-On-One lessons with. When you are done leading one person through the experience you should start with someone new. One of the main purposes of the One-On-One process is to take new Christians through basic discipleship immediately following salvation.
