Family Church HistoryIn 1991, Pastor Bill Fitzhugh heard the call of God to end his time in traveling evangelism and begin a church in his home town of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He and eleven others met in his home on that first Sunday. The church has now grown to over 1,200 attending on an average weekend. Over the years, the church met in White Hall City Hall, the White Hall Junior High band room, Moody Elementary School Cafeteria, Cranford’s Funeral home, and finally their permanent home at I-530 and Hwy. 104. The land was purchased in 1996 And has had several major building projects to develop into the campus it is today with state of the art facilities for children, youth and other meetings. Today, FC is completely debt free and looking towards a vision of reaching 5,000 in Jefferson County and every county that touches it. |
