Growth TrackMembership 101 These classes give those interested in becoming more involved and connected to Family Church an overvirew of our history, basic doctrine, organization, ministry opportunities, and discipleship classes. This class follows salvation and baptism and is for anyone wishing to become a member of Family Church. Encounter Retreats Encounter Retreats are 48 hours at the Cross. They occur on a weekend (Friday night through Sunday morning). This is a great time to renew a relationship with Christ and strip off anything that is holding you back from your potential in Him. They occur 1-2 times each year for men, women and teenagers. Encounter Retreats can occur before or after Membership 101. An encounter weekend is a prerequisite for attending Discipleship 201. Discipleship 201 This class walks believers through the essentials beliefs and doctrines every Christian needs to be successful in their walk with Christ. This class folows Membership 101 and an Encounter Retreat. Discovery Seminar We want to help you realize what makes you unique. This class will help you discover you personality, gifts, and purpose in life and how God has best fit you for ministry. This class comes after Discipleship 201 and before Leadership 301. Leadership 301 These classes are for those interested in becoming leaders in any ministry at Family Church. They wil help you grow in your leadership, discipleship, and ministry skills. This class follows Discipleship 201. Servant Advancd Leadership Training (S.A.L.T.) S.A.L.T. is a quarterly meeting for all those serving in any ministry at Family Church. Dream Team 401 Our desire for every believer that comes to Family Church is to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. That means serving and ministering just as God has designed you to. We want you to help us reach Jefferson County and every county that touches it with the Gospel of Christ and make disciples. While discipleship is a lifelong process, the Growth Track is complete when you join a ministry team, faithfully attend a Life Group and are serving in the local body.
