OASIS is the 60+ Senior Adult Ministry of Family Church. OASIS stands for Older Adults Serving In Season.

The OASIS Ministry exists for the purpose of providing Christ-centered activities that foster, first and foremost, evangelistic outreach, spiritual growth and health, age-level educational pursuits, and wholesome fellowship events and address social needs of church members and friends age 60 and older, and their
spouses. The OASIS Ministry will promote strong focal points of need so that people may be involved in an area that interests them. All seniors age 60 and over, and their spouses regardless of age, are welcome to attend our once-a-month meetings, to be held during the day and duplicated in the evenings for those who are still working and can’t attend daytime meetings.

There are now more in the 60+ generation than ever before in history. At Family Church, this generation is vital to the fulfilling of our vision. We’re not a group of 60+ who are giving up on life — we’re continuing to play a role in the lives of people all over Jefferson County and every county that touches it. This group of people comes together to strategize on how to impact their community and encourage one another towards great service for the Lord.
